Processes
It consists of passing a previously heated aluminum billet through a die, which determines the shape of the profile. This is achieved through the pressure applied by a hydraulic press in combination with controlled temperature.
In summary, the extrusion process consists of the following stages:
Heating of the log.
Cutting of the log into pre-sized ingots or billets.
Placement of the preheated die in the hydraulic press.
Start of extrusion.
Cooling of the profile at the exit of the press.
Verification of the dimensions and physical appearance of the extrusion.
Controlled stretching of the extruded profiles with the stretcher.
Cutting of the profiles to the required dimensions.
Placement and classification of the profiles in baskets.
Transfer of the baskets to the tempering oven.
The process is carried out in a series of stages:
Cleaning of the profiles.
It consists of an alkaline soap bath to clean grease and oils from the surface of the profiles.
Etching / Pickling
It consists of removing scratches and roughness from the surface. Additionally, a matte finish is achieved on the surface of the piece.
Descaling
It removes intermetallic particles and other residues that pickling does not achieve.
Anodizing
Electrolytic dissolution of aluminum to form a stable layer of aluminum oxide.
Coloring
It consists of 2 types: Electrolytic color and organic dye.
Sealing
It consists of closing the pores of the layer, obtaining an inert surface.
Acid Cleaning

Acid Cleaning
-
Rinsing with Deionized Water.
-
Sealing Tank (Chromium-Free).
Prior to painting, aluminum profiles must be dry, free of rust, stains, and debris, free of oils, free of dust, and free of dents.
Painting
Racking
It consists of mounting the profiles on the movable racks on an automatic carousel.
Parts Drying
The loaded racks pass through an oven at a temperature of 160° Fahrenheit to ensure that the surface is completely dry before the paint application process.
Paint Application
The paint particles are electrically charged and applied to the surface of the profiles on the movable racks.
Polymerization / Curing
It is the process in which the paint is subjected to high temperatures, changing its initial physical state from powder particles to a solid mass with different surface characteristics.
Pretreatment (Conversion Process)
-
Cleaning of aluminum profiles after the extrusion process for paint adhesion..
-
Improve the appearance of the surface.
-
Remove oxide residues.
-
Application of the conversion coating that improves corrosion resistance.
Painting (Powder Coating)
Application of polyurethane paint. The paint particles are electrostatically charged and applied to the surface of the profiles on the movable racks-

Sublimation
In our sublimation process, we use raw materials of the highest quality, such as the polyurethane paint base and the thermotransfer film, which contains special inks that penetrate the paint base, becoming perfectly anchored to the surface of the aluminum profiles.
